To join the group is super easy. As stated in the 'About Us' section under 'Membership' all you have to do is show up and show interest. (see below)


Membership

Membership in the Kanata Writers' Group is informal, all you have to do is show up and keep showing up. And when you first attend, and the group interests you, then supply your email address so that you can be added to the 'minutes of the meeting' email list.

The interests and motivations of the participants vary extensively. The group includes published authors and competition winners, as well as a number of people who write merely for the joy of expressing their ideas in written form. The genres of interest, among the members, are equally varied; including novels, verse, short stories and fiction for children and young adults.
