We will be meeting at: Glen Cairn Community Centre 186 Morrena Road,for each of the following meetings in 2012 due to construction at the library.

11th. and 25th. January
8th. and 22nd February
7th. and 21st. March
4th. and 18th. April
2nd. and 30th. May

    Forgive the late notice, but I thought the following item might be of interest to KWG members:

    The Stittsville Village Association will be welcoming art and literary fans Sunday, May 27th for Artists & Authors in the Park. There's plenty planned for the whole family, including art and literary exhibits, a how-to-get-published workshop, textile demonstrations, fantastic activities for children and a charity BBQ.     My 10 year old daughter is looking for a writing workshop of sorts, any ideas of what would be good for her age? Would this be suitable or could you match her with someone and she could come once a month or something? She was registered for a novel writing program at the creative art centre, but she was the only one who registered. She is participating in the MASC workshop later this month. Any help is appreciated. Laura Quirk
